'we was 4 wheelin out past switzer bridge sorry for the spelling but anyways
we was stooped at the bridge and we sat on are wheelers putin in a dip then
we smelled somithin horrible next thing you know a large creature went right
down the waterway "(its a bridge that is slopes down into elkhorn creek)
it just walked by like nothin happend do not know if it seen us it scared us
enough to ride our wheelers back home.'

'we was at my aunt freda house in owensboro kentucky .. she lived on lucas ave.
owensboro ky we was their for a summer vacation on the 4th of july 1972. on
july 8th 1972, we started back home to gauley bridge west virginia. on our way
home that night of july 8th 1972. we was on rt 64 east .. headed for west virginia..
about two miles before we got to morehead ky. eixt our car right back tire blew
out.. we was in a 1966-98 owesmoble four door car..a big long car.. with a 455
v8 motor .. they was eight family members . i stanley miller my dad roy j miller
my mother doris ann miller my older brothers roy j miller junior and robert
huston miller and my sisters brenda miller and dana miller and my cousion mike
parker . and our collie dog name ladie.. we was all in that big car 1966-98-owes.
around 12,30 pm our back right tire blew out on rt 64 about two miles before
you get to morehead ky. east bound lane. my dad made us all get out of the car
so he and my brothers could jack the car up to fix the flat tire. .me and my
cousion mike parker was setting on the guard rail looking across this old farm
field. our collie dog was looking across that field and sniffing.. and the dog
started wineing and wineing and jump back in to the car back floor board wineing
like he was afraid..at this time me and my cousion mike parker was looking across
that old farm field and i notice this tall dark shadow way across that look
like a small tree.. and me and my cousion mike was both looking at it way across
that farm field.. then we both notice that the tall shadow had move and moving
across that old farm field tord us comming across. it was moving slow very slowly.
and it was getting closer as it was comming tord us across that field.. we both
got afraid and told my mother. at first my mother was joking with us about it.
but when my mother seen we was really afraid she started watching it . and she
notice it moving slow comming tords us.. then my mother got afraid.. then my
sisters and brothers started watching it comming tord us across that old farm
field. and my dad started watching it as it was crossing that field comming
tords us.. we all was jus tkids back then and we all started screeming and crying
for my dad and older brothers to hurry up and fix the tire.. and go. ..my mother
was screeming at my dad to go hurry up and go..
at this time this creature or monster or mystery thing was getting closer comming
across that old farm field and it started screeching out loud at us as it was
comming.. as it got closer it had legs and arms and about 10 or 15 feet tall..
at this time we all had done jump back in the car and was screeming at my dad
to come on lets go.. i remember my sisters crying and screeming at my dad to
hurry up and fix the tire.. by the time my dad jack the car down on its wheels
.. that creature monster of a thing was just down the inbankment from us on
rt 64 east bound lane..
it had done cross that large old farm field. and was comming up the inbankment
of rt 64 at us. .screeching at us out loud. i remember it had kind of long hair
misty hair and its eyes lit up orange red color . and it had wicked evil eyes.
.my brother roy j miller jr was shining the flash light on it as it was down
the inbankment. we all seen it.. and it was tall around 10 or 15 feet tall ..
and it had its arms out kind of crooked..my dad got in the car and we rush out
of their and made it back home to gauley bridge west virginia safe that night..

'this monster of a creature was 10 or 15 feet tall . it had misty white looking
hair. and orange red looking eyes and was walking and had arms..and legs.. and
it was screechiing out loud at us. this location were we seen this monster is
about two mile before you get to morehead kentucky on rt 64 east bound lane..
it was a old farm field and down below thefarm field was a old barn with a little
black top road beside of it . .i think this old barn now has mail pouch tobacoo
on it. but this i am sure the location on rt 64. .the farm field is on the east
bound side of rt 64 .. this happen back in july 8th 1972.. our whole family
seen it.. if you wan tto talk to my family members on this i can range it ..
they all will tell you this really truly happen to us on are way back home from
owensboro kentucky. my mother told me that now in this year of 2,008 that that
old farm field has small trees grew up in front of it but that barn is till

' About three weeks ago I stepped out onto the porch around 8 pm to see if the
coyotes were howling. They sometimes sound off about that time. Instead, I heard
a cry I've never heard before, coming from the south about a quarter-mile away.
I have no idea what it was. The best I can describe it is, HIIIIII-EEE, rising
in pitch at the latter part. It was much louder than any coyote or dog I ever
heard. There were two cries, each lasting about two or three seconds. I thought,
"Whatever that is, it sounds angry," and I went back inside. A few
days later I mentioned the incident to my neighbor, who said, "Oh, you
must have heard the wolf. We started hearing him about two years ago. Usually
the coyotes will start howling, then when he starts up, they all shut up. He
sounds pretty ferocious." (I had not described the cry to my neighbor,
nor had I mentioned my feeling that it seemed angry.) The thing is, this did
not sound like a wolf either, at least not like any wolf call I ever
heard on TV. It was more like a baying sound, but it didn't sound like a hound
dog. I really don't know what it was.

'It was about 6:30 and we were just coming home from the store and we were on
a small country road Paris pike and when a large tall figure was on the side
of the road and appered to be a person hitchhiking. we usualy dont pick up hitchhikers
but we thought it could of been one of our neighbors. so we started to slow
down to pick him up. My wife rolled down the window but when the headlights
hit him for the second time he turned around and froze. We did not know what
to do either and sat there for a few seconds in disbelief only to see his glowing
red eyes and 7 foot frame. we honked the horn and he took off on two legs. Even
when he was gone you could still smell his horible stinch. '

'My family used to own a fishing camp a few miles outside of Jabez/Russell Springs
area.
The activity I am about to describe has been reported by me before,but I can't
remember what site , it was a Kentucky bigfoot site.
We spent whole summers fishing,boating,and hiking. My friend and I used to go
with my grandfather or dad at times. We would walk from the cabin to Lake Cumberland(Thomas
Branch),a distance of 1.5/2.0 miles. The road we followed led to a very large,steep
hill that the Corps of Engineers had put in for vehicle access to a boat ramp
at the lake. As we would walk down the hill, we could hear something on the
rise above the road following/shadowing us. When I say shadowing,I mean that
when we would stop to listen, whatever was on the rise would stop.
This would continue as we walked on, almost like a game. This was the sound
of footsteps, not the patter of four legs, if that makes any sense. At times
whatever it was didn't seem to be paying attention,or wouldn't see us stop,
because wewould stop and whatever wounot notice and take a few steps,then as
if it saw we had stopped the steps would stop. We thought it might have been
my dad or my grandfather,but they usually were out fishing in the boat or sleeping
from fishing all night.
My grandfather had emphysema fairly bad, so we knew he wouldn't be out in the
woods risking death just to try to scare two twelve year olds.I always wondered
what followed us, and my friend and I still talk about it sometimes I saw the
report from the lady in Jabez and thought I would add this report.'

'As I said this took place over several years, the area was just fishing camps,
with a few year round residents,mostly older people. I never heard any of them
speak of it , but they rarely walked the hill. They mainly drove because they
hauled boats to the ramp,and hauled equipment so they could stay out all day/night
fishing.

'i was about 15 and my family was on vacation on the way to Ala. myself and
two brothers were asleep in the back seat when we were awakened by my mother's
screams.
my dad now 91and mom 86 has told the story mamy times. it goes like this.
while driving this tall hairy manlike thing walked out onto the highway. my
dad hit his brights and slammed the brakes on and just missed the thing. as
it turned and my dad swearved to miss whatever it raised one are and the long
hair on the arm brushed over the windshield on my moms side of the car. we stopped
and it was gone. after my mom calmed down we were on our way. i did not see
it but i can say my mom and dad are not prone to make up tales. i did and do
believe the story they tell to this day.'

'My father and I were going hunting at LBL and I had already harvested a deer.
So, I figured that I would just stay in the truck; due to harvesting a deer
earlier I didn't want to go out in the woods really early. So my dad went into
the woods after we ate breakfast and I dozed off. I woke up after about thirty
minutes with my stomach hurting. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I looked out the
windshield into the graveyard ahead of me and there it was. I thought "thank
god that it's walking away from me". So I lyed back for a couple of minutes
in shock of what I just saw. A moment later I sat up and it was gone. I was
pretty glad that it had disappeared.'

'Me and my brother was out in the woods in southern Rockcastle county deer hunting,
and after a long day of hunting and drinking some beer. Me and my brother were
on our way to the truck, and we spotted a large figure up ahead of us on the
side of some clifts. My James said " that feller looks like he's gonna
jump off of that clift." So we walked a little closer to him and seen that
it wasn't a man, but more of an ape. After me and James watched the figure from
about 40-50 yards away the creature suddenly leaped off of the cliff onto a
near by large tree. Then James said "let's get the hell out of here, before
that thing gets a hold of us!" Then we got the hell out of there.'

of long stingy looking hair. I guess that the thing would've weighed at least

'My great-grandmother was born and raised in the eastern part of Pulaski County.
She would have all kinds of fascinating stories of the "old days"
and how things were very different then. One story she use to tell, still stands
out in my mind above many others, this is it:
My great-grandmother grew up on a small farm, as did
many people in that time period. The farm, of course was full of animals, most
were chickens, which they would sell eggs to the local people in the area. One
night, after it was "good and dark," my great-grandmother and her
family were settling down for the evening and preparing for bed, when they heard
a huge commotion near one of their chicken coops. Fearing that a dog or some
other animal was trying to attack the chickens, her father ran out to the chicken
house in order to frightened off what ever animal was there. When he arrived
at the coop, he found it to be over turned on its side and he witnessed a "very
large"man-like animal running away. The next morning, the family went out
to investigate the damage and they found huge foot prints in the mud. The prints
were too large to be a bear and too human like to be any other animal's print.
An actually sighting by her family was never made again, but she did say that
sometimes at night, scream like sounds could be heard coming from the woods
around their house. '

'Me and my son were driving down a country road around 11pm on 12/21/07. we
had just turn around and was heading back toward the city when we both saw something
out the passenger side door window. we both at the same time said what was that.
I stopped the truck and backed up and could see a large object about 80 yards
from the truck. as we backed up the object continued to look at us. I stopped
the truck and rolled down the window when i did i shined a flashlight at the
object. It then slowly turned and walked into the woods. We went back to town
and got a friend of mine and we went back out to the spot where we had seen
the object. We walked down to the edge of the woods and all of a sudden we heard
this grow or roar. as we stood frozen we head it walking deeper into the woods'

body. it was walking upright and walked away from us. it did not appear to be
in any hurry.'
