'on october 3rd 2009 me and my uncle and my brother was deer hunting we hadnt seen any thing all day so my uncle said go and get it in my tree stand i said ok. well i sit there for awhile it started to get dark but i could still see good well a few minutes later i heard a stick snap i slowly looked to my left and i saw this tall two legged animal at first i thought it was a man but i looked harder and I noticed it wasnt no man.it was just standing there and it scared me half to death because I aint seen any thing like this,i watched it till i lossed site of it then a few minutes later my brother and my uncle here this moan.then i here a big limb snap i looked and there it is again looking at me. from the tree i was in it was only 20 yards away i was going to shoot it but something told me not to. a few seconds later it walked away.I was so scared. when i got out of the tree to go back down to the house i told my brother and my uncle about it and they said no telling whats up in them woods.'

'it was about 6ft 8 it was either gray or black.it had a face exactly like a wolf it had alot of hair all over it.its body was well toned. it had yellow eyes it.'

FOLLOW UP: 7/6/10

I spoke to 17 year-old Lee County native, John Mullins on July 6th, 2010. He is a very respectful young man and, despite his incredible story, struck me as being very sincere and credible. He was bow-hunting with his brother and uncle just after dusk on Oct. 3rd., 2009 outside Beattyville, Ky. The three had seperated and he was alone in his deer-stand. The snapping of a limb alerted him and, looking to his left, he saw the creature standing in the brush beside a tree about 60 ft. away. He only saw it from its torso up, and it was now getting good and dark, but he could see enough to know that it was humanoid with a hair-covered, man-like body and the head of a wolf. He watched it for about 5 minutes before it backed away into the trees on two legs. Seconds later a loud moaning sound was heard by 2 of the 3 hunters. John described it to me as sounding like "a lion yawning." Soon afterwards another tree-break was heard and the creature appeared to John for the second time. He wanted to shoot but something kept him from doing so. A few seconds later it simply walked back into the woods, again on 2 legs, and disappeared. When asked for more detail about its appearance, John told me that he could definately see the shoulders, which were man-like and that it had 4" to 5" long, pointed ears "sticking straight up on the top of its head." He did not see the thing's hands, legs, or feet. He had never heard of the other eastern Ky. 'Dogman' sightings or of the alleged repeated events in Western Ky. involving the 'Beast of LBL' and has no other experiences involving anything that could be considered unexplained.

Please describe your encounter: I WAS A PASSENGER IN A TRUCK ALONG WITH MY GRANDMOTHER AND UNCLE.. TRAVELING UP WHITE ASH HILL... ROAD WAS DIRT AND MUD IN THOSE DAYS.. IT WAS RANING AND MUDDY ETC..MY UNCLE WAS HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING UP THE HILL TO WHERE WE INTENDED TO LEAVE THE TRUCK AND CONTINUE ON FOOT.. AS USUAL ,TO THE TOP OF THE HILL.....SOMETHING VERY LARGE AND FRIGHTENING WOULD RUN ACROSS IN FRONT OF OUR TRUCK AND THROW BRANCHES FROM THE HOLLY THICKET ON ONE SIDE IF THE ROAD.. THIS CONTINUED FOR 20/30 MIN UNTIL MY UNCLE FINIALLY MANAGED TO BACK DOWN THE HILL..UPON CHECKING THE NEXT MORNING THE ROAD WAS A MUDDY MESS BUT YOU COULD CERTAINLY TELL SOMETHING HAD GOTTEN MAD AND STOMPED AROUND.. BRANCHES WERE EVERYWHERE.

Describe the creature with detail: LARGE DARK COLOR.. GUESS TO BE 9/10 FT TALL AND VERY ANGRY HARD TO SEE MORE.. I WAS A CHILD AND VERY FRIGHTENED... MY UNCLE ANG GRANDMOTHER REFUSED TO TELL ANYONE.. THEY THOUGHT THEY WOULD NOT BE BELIEVED!!

Additional Info: ROAD RUNNING BETWEEN RIVER AND RAILROAD TRACK THRU UNDERPASS UP WHITE ASH HILL DOWN RIVER FROM BEATTYVILLE... BEFORE BELLPOINT! NEAR CEMETARY
