Crying Baby Entices Bigfoot?

On May 10, 2016 the witnesses called because they are very concerned. The actual sighting took place a week earlier. The couple is renting an old farmhouse at the very
end of a dirt road. The property is surrounded by miles of dense woods which include
many hills and hollows. Old stone walls have been found in the forest. Their only
neighbors are a few farmers which sit further up the road.

Late one afternoon, just before dusk, Sam was sitting on the living room floor playing with the couple’s 4 month old baby. His wife Krista was sitting on the couch. Sam looked up and caught a glimpse of a black, hairy creature walking in the front yard. He saw the back of it, from the shoulders up. At first he thought it was someone with long black hair walking up to the house, so with a puzzled look on his face, Sam got up and handed the baby to his wife and approached the front door. When he opened the door, nobody was there. He noticed the top strand of barbwire on the fence (which sits about 25 feet from the porch) was moving. After giving it some more thought and actually taking measurements with his wife, they estimated the creature at approximately 8 feet tall with shoulders about 3 feet wide. It had long, wooly black hair with grey tips. When asked about the shape of the head Sam replied, “The back of the head was blunt….kinda went straight down to its back. The top of the head was fuzzy.” It was actually walking away from the house.

Sam and Krista both added more chilling and mysterious details over the phone. For the past few months they have heard long, high-pitched wails coming from the hollow near the house. “It sounds like a woman screaming mixed with a roar. Each wail lasts about 5-10 seconds. The most recent vocal occurred while the couple was sitting on the front porch smoking a cigarette around midnight on May 7th. Oddly enough, seconds prior to the wail the couple noticed a brief flash of white light from deep in the hollow. This same scenario happened a few weeks prior as well. Sam assured me nobody lives in that direction. It’s a dense, uninhabited forest.

Another ongoing event petains to loud thumps on the side of the farmhouse in the middle of the night when the baby cries. “It sounds like someone or something smacks the outside wall to the living room or utility room,” explained Sam. He said he found damage to the siding about nine foot up and will send pictures.

A neighbor’s calf recently went missing and another neighbor's three dogs vanished.

Both Sam and Krista are worried about the ongoing activity. I suggested security lights and game cameras--both are strong deterrents. Unfortunately a possible investigation is on hold due to the landowner’s disbelief.
